Hi,

By any chance did you install the Green Radiator cap? When Volvo replaced mine at one of my routine services, it screwed up my temp gauge. The pressure was so high that it started screwing up my gauges, blowing hoses, and ultimately my radiator. I put the original black cap back on it, and all was well!
