Intermittent power window problem 200 1990

If it worked flawlessly with panel off, I would suspect the wiring/switch before jumping to the motor. 85 740 one motor in 28yrs went bad but have disassembled numerous switches for cleaning over the years. When I have had window problems, I put 12volts directly to the motor. That normally points me to the switch. I have had passenger window problems, and pulling the master panel at the drivers door and cleaning that switch has solved some of the them.
