b20 engine code 140-160

I'm running a '72 6-bolt B21 bored to accept B21 pistons in my PV, no problems overheating even with the small B16 radiator nose my PV has on it.

8 bolt B20's make it easier to do a big-bore rebuild, since you can use B21 pistons as is. With the 6-bolt engines you either have to find some custom pistons (I don't think IPD sells the 6-bolt big bore kit any more). Or have the 6-bolt rods modified to fit the 24mm wrist pins.

On the PV's engine build, I had the machine shop press out the brass bushing, then very lightly ream it for an interference fit on the larger wrist pins. They said they took out an exceedingly small amount of metal. Heat the rod, chill the pin, it all slides together then locks into place with no circlips needed.
