Compression test theory? 900 1994

unless there's a million miles on the engine, the block and rings, etc., should be ok. a compression test is a good idea for a baseline, and i would expect,if you go forward with the rings and stuff, you'll be using standard instead of oversize parts. had a few apart with 250k, including 1 of mine, and that's what they got. only 2 i've to replace motors in due to wear were an 86 and an 87, both turbos, and th blocks were worn .080, well beyond rebuilding unless they got sleeved. good luck, chuck.
