... with yet another case of WTF? causing some unneeded concern and a final bit of hoop-jumping to allay that concern.
The "Confirmation" E-mail included the following:
+------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Qty | Product |
+------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| 1 | 1985-1987 Volvo 740 8 Valve Catalytic Converter |
+------------------------------------------------------------------------
| Qty | SKU Label | Tracking | Ship Date | |+------------------------------------------------------------------+
| 1 | 099-942 | 1Z745T9T0364936060 | 6/29/2009 |
| Catalytic Converter |
+------------------------------------------------------------------+
Having ordered a Cat specifically identified for a '92-'95 940 in FCP's selection process, I was shocked, shocked I tell you, to see I can expect a 1985-1987 740 Cat to be coming my way.
However, this 099-942 Part # Search shows I will be getting what I ordered. But I have to wonder why the confirmation e-mail refers to a different year &model that happens to share that part #?
Seems like the Confirmation should be based on the order in question, rather than just the Part #.
No reply necessary.
Just wanted you to be aware of how things look from this end.
