How badly did I screw up?

I'm replacing my cam with a 'performance' camshaft, and also changing the timing belt. I pulled the old cam, started to put in the new one, but just re-read the instructions about NOT rotating the camshaft and crankshaft when the timing belt is removed...

Can I simply line up all the marks on the timing pulley and crank pulley with the matching marks on the belt and everything will magically be OK?

Or have I screwed up badly?

I'm in the middle of this project, right now...
