Removal of Knobs and Such 120-130

Don't bother painting the plastic parts, the bakelite knobs and the softer plastic pieces will shine up very nicely on a buffing wheel.

You may need to go over the bakelite with fine steel wool or sandpaper prior to polishing. The turn signal housing will start to melt if you apply to much pressure while buffing; a light touch is all you need. The ventilation control
knobs are also this soft plastic, as is the end of the turn signal switch and door lock buttons.

The transparent plastic cover on the ventilation control can be put on without removing the knobs; just align the knobs in the way that makes it the easiest and bend the plastic cover to slip over the ends of the knobs.
