Jumpy Lucid here

Hi Lucid/Jumpy,
I'm just looking at the charging diagram on page 320-2 which just shows the one idiot lite not all 3. This is a 93 240. Maybe I phrased it poorly but yes at the disconnected exciter wire at the alt I am reading 12 v with key in pos. II. Then when I ground that wire to the battery or any ground the 3 warning lites do not light and I'm positive the bulbs are all good. So somehow I am getting the voltage at the alt. but the warning lites not getting it. I'm stumped. If I manually apply a voltage to the exciter terminal on the alt it charges just fine. So the 12 v I see at the wire at pos. II must be going away when I start the engine I guess. Thoughts greatly appreciated...
