Swapping Steering Wheels / Steering Column Sizes 120-130

Tyler,

Just pull both of them and lay them side by side. Same length? Use a caliper to check the diameters. If they are identical diameter and length they will swap. If the diameters are different (can't imagine that) then you'll also have to swap the bearing assembly that hangs at the dashboard. There is a single bolt up high where the dash and firewall meet and two bolts at the shaft end of the bracket.

Is there an adapter on the shaft out of the 4dr to mount that Chevy wheel? If not, was the shaft resplined? It should be evident by "newer" splines on the 4dr shaft compared to the wagon shaft. If it was resplined it was probably shortened too; the wagon shaft may be longer by the length of the splines -- still OK to use.
