My 65' came with a terrible looking Chevy three spoke steering wheel. I rented a puller and the wheel came off easily enough but what surprised me was when I went to pull the bow tie wheel off my parts wagon, the nut that held the wheel in place seemed to be much larger than the one on my four door (1-1/16" socket vs a 3/4 or something along those lines) Indeed the diameter of the bow tie wheel's steering column splines is much larger than the splined end on my 4 door. I did some looking in the green books and could not come up with much information. Can I just swap out the upper column that runs from the coupler to the wheel from my wagon and be ready to go?
