Electrical problem in the Yellow Peril 140-160 1973

I can calim some weirdness with the Bosch VR used in the 140, had intermittent overcharging which didn't get solved until a handfull of regulators had gone through it. The Citorens use SEV stuff... nothing but weirdness.

Do you have any overcharging symptoms? Is there an internally regulated alternator availble to substitute to isolate the charging side?
