You are correct. I wasn't aware that the French system use the same oddball O2 sensor as the Motronic but there have been posts here about the common type NOT being a good substitute for it. Specifically, somebody assuming all were interchangeable, spending gob$ of dough in parts, just to find out that the O2 sensor he replaced early on would have fixed the emission failures if he used the correct type.
