02 sensor question S90-V90

I thought that the wire could be soldered from what I had gathered here on this board-the thought was that soldering the wires, was bad, because of not allowing or limiting current because of the solder itself. Current flow was hindered because of solder-in the small amounts thats produced by the sensor I could see the rationale.
There sensor that is on my car is a 4 wire self heated type.
