I haven't done the job yet, but have pulled a couple of good struts (springs and shocks included) from the local PickNPull.
The tricky part will probably be the brake lines. (Ball joint and tie rod ends came off easily. Then three nuts on top and stut drops out.)
Considering using a dremel/saw to cut out a piece of metal from the hole(s) through which the brake line(s) go. This way will be able to slip lines free without disconnecting them. (Will use zip ties or whatever to hold them in place on replacement strut.)
