E-85 is a mixture of 85 percect gasoline and 15 percent alcohol. As I understand, it is more widly avaliable in Europe than here in the U.S.. Saab has come up with an ingenious way to harness the energy potential of E-85, by inplementing a system to sense the amount of ethanol in the fuel mix and increasing the turbo boost to match the ethanol content.
