E-83 Ethanol - not Ethyanol

Thanks everyone for the imput...Sorry for the wrong spelling in Ethanol. I guess the general opinion is not to use it for fear of harming the engine. E-83 is a blend of 85% corn alcohol.
Is the main problem from the alcohol breaking down synthetic parts, or are there other nasties I should know of?
I may try to convert the 1981 240 motor that I'm putting into the 58 Vauxhall to use it. Other than the injector o-rings and fuel lines, there is little plastic or rubber used in the early B21F's system. I could upgrade to braided steel fuel lines.
The early Bosch injectors are all metal unlike the 1984 & up B23 & B230 motor's plastic injectors. Remember, some day, if the enviromentalists and politicians have there way, most fuel will be either a blend of alcohol and petroleum, or all alcohol. I need to be ready for the next 20 years or so.\
Ben
