They would be the only way to keep the tailpipe from dragging when you back out, but leave the height unchanged.(air back down) If you permanently change the rear height that will change the alignment.

Most shock manufacturers have a range of shocks for each cars. Each level of shock for a given car has a "characteristic ride," soft to hard.

As I remember there was only one shock available for Volvo, regardless of the shock manufacturer.

The antenna depends on what part is broken.
