Some 444/544 Questipons 444-544 1963

Thanks Ron. The battery is definitely 12v. But I thought maybe it was converted from a 6v sometime in the past. The four-fuse fuse block is a nice clue - that’s what this car has on the drivers side of the firewall. The only wiring diagram I’ve seen so far was for a 6v with a six-fuse fuse block shown. So anyway I didn’t know if it may have originally been a 6v turned 12v.

Also I know it’s a B18 per the ID cast into the LH side of the block. What’s been done to it over the last 58 years is anyone’s guess. It runs really nice and smooth and sounds great! The new owners report that it is quite peppy.

We’re seeing that all of the heater ducting is missing from his Nader the dash and the heater core has been bypassed so it looks like a new core is probably needed.

And the fun continues…..
