My first job would be to clean the engine at a self wash car wash. The next step is change the crank sensor in the dist. I am pretty sure you don't have the crank senser in the back of the engine. If that does not solve the problem I would then replace the ignitor, spark amplifier or whatever anybody wants to call the ignition module. Hope this helps. Pauli
