Brake Conversion 1800 1965

If your 1800 was a year newer, the rear axle and brakes from a '70-'73 1800E or ES would bolt up, but the trailing arms are different on the earlier cars like yours. You'd have to modify the axle, the mounting points on the car's body, or the arms themselves.

140-series axles have too wide a track, and 240s are completely different. I wouldn't mess with either of those.
