Going back I remember having a rough running / dropping MPG situation that I ended up at a dealer for and it took them a couple days to finally find that the fuel pressure regular wasn't working right (this was actaully a nicer dealer, only charged a couple hours dianostic and that included a try with a speed sensor and PNP switch).
Don't recall what PSI it was and what it should be. And have no idea of where to connect pressure gauge but it is somewhere under the fuel rail. Which gets you to injectors. Haven't had issues with my '93 with 300k miles but might they be clogged?
