Hi,
Just for the record re: Volvo has not used a carburator in the NA market since the early 70`s. Actually, Canadian 240`s used a single carb(Zenith) in the years 80-81. I`m not sure why tho` my wife`s 81 240 was carburated while my beautiful 81 242(deceased but lovingly remembered, total writeoff when my wife hit a deer. I loved that car but I love my wife way more!!!)was fuel injected.
