Removing the rear seat back is a matter of unbolting it from the car. Why do you have to remove the leather?????
The C pillar coverings need to come off, but no leather there.

As for your dip stick: If the tube is longer than the dip stick (it shouldn't be) then you will spill oil. Remove the old tube and it's dip stick and put in the new one.
