2004 V70 advice needed

I'm now looking into a 2004 V70 Non Turbo and I have 2 options (both cars are identical as far as options go, leather, sun roof....):

A used 2004 for $24,000, Its supposed to be in excellent condition, just had 15k service and garaged kept. The owner is having her third child and needs a van. I'm going to look at it on Monday.

Or.. A new 2004 for about $27,000.

Any thoughts? I figure the dealer will find a way to add on another $500.00 so I'm looking at around a $3500 difference between the two cars. (plus tax)

Any thoughts? Advice?
