Upper engine mount bushing replacement. 850

You may drive conservatively.
Removal is easy. Insert a small saw blade in the hole and cut thru the plastic sleeve surrounding the rubber. I used a saber saw but a hand saw will do too. Stop when you hit the metal mount. With the sleeve cut, the bushing will pop out with a few shots.
Installation takes a bit of innovation with pipe fittings and a large bolt to make a press. I've used two pipe flanges, some threaded sleeves for spacers and cobbled up a press to install it on the car. Make note of the position of the old one and install the slightly tapered side first. You want it to be about flush with the mount when you're done. The pipe flanges let you press on the outside of the bushing while the center part pokes thru the hole in the flange. The other flange goes on the other side of the mount. A few large washers came in handy too.
