I met a guy who claimed to have a "super street" 1800 that has a highly modified V8 (350 Chevy) engine, etc, etc that supposedly runs 10s in the 1/4 mile. I'd love to see that...lives somewhere near Cincinatti, OH.
I had a stock '62 P1800 and yes, they DO need a few good perf. mods to get them moving as they aren't fast by todays standards (OK, not then either).
