It's good to see we all don't like "rice". I totally feel the same way as you do (Both Frank and Rick). To be honest when I buy myself a P1800E, I'm thinking of some engine upgrades too. However, I like the styling of the car very much and wouldn't think anything else but some shiny clear coat and wax.
