The Bay 13 instruction on timing belt recommend:

Look for coolant seepage from the pump, if you have a leak, replace
the pump and seal.

I'd inspect it and if it looks OK, leave it alone.

I don't recall seeing a lot of reports of water pump failure posted
on this board. The Volvo dealership would seem to be a better judge
of that, though.
