And don't forget to replace the following;
1. belt tensioner (can you imagine the disaster if it fails?)
2. both camshafts' oil seals (oil will ruin your new belt)
3. while you at it, replace the camshafts too (engine will fail for sure)
4. don't forget crankshaft oil seals (front and rear)
5. crankshaft pulley (its failure will kill the engine for sure)
6. crankshaft (as above)
7. pistons (better safe then sorry)
8. valves (as above)
9. if you have turbo, replace it too (you may loose all the power while
driving 50 km/h)
10. ECU (just in case)
11. engine mounts (don't be fooled if they appear OK)
12. CV joints (all four)
13. transmission (if you don't have one then at least clutch as it may fail
unexpectedly)
Good replacing, it's a cheap PM and keeps your mental bills low, but your maintenance ones high :-)
