GEICO or PROGRESSIVE?

Air bags, door panels, radio etc. stolen from my Grand Cherokee in San Fran California. Progressive sent out a claims vehicle right away as advertised. They had to examine my claim and police reports so wouldn't settle. I was on vacation and had to go home ASAP as I waited an extra week to get a settlement and HAD to get back and get back to work. They told me to just drive it gutted out 3,000 miles back to NY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then took another month and a half to cut the check!

I don't know if my case was rare but take it into consideration.

If you have no chioce but to choose between the two take Geico as a friend of mine had them and his claim was actually settled in a resonable amount of time. Have you pulled out the phone book and checked the yellow pages yet?
