trans. slip/disengage problem and answer 850 1994

OK.
BTW, I have yet to see where a bad TPS caused what seems like a slipping trans but after reading the story above, I suppose anything's possible. I too would not normally think of a faulty TPS for your complaint unless I saw a code that indicated it. I wouldn't be totally surprized if your trans has more serious problems from your description but you'll find out soon enough. Good luck.
