The OBD system in the 1995 is a little old, out dated, for some of the more modern cars with can/buss technology. I have a crummy hand held scanner that tells me less than the two boxes under the hood. VIDA/DICE:

You are supposed to be able to plug in the year and get full functionality. Live data streaming, etc.
There is learning curve and it probably only works on select Windows operating systems.
