Thanks Chris. It failed again so I replaced the Throttle Body. I did it while the engine was hot and had no trouble. The car ran great for a day and then failed again, same identical symptoms. I'm looking into the gas pedal sending unit next. Might it respond to electrical contact spray cleaner?
