Jim,

I am 6'6" also. Was also thinking of a v70 or 9-5. Ended up buying the the v70 T5 without any hesitation. This is the best car for someone our size (headroom and seat comfort). I also feel it performs much better than the base model 9-5 (I drove one (actually the SE version) for 2.5 weeks and felt it didn't compare in terms of pure acceleration, highway comfort (9-5 SE feels like it needs an overdrive), and road handling.

I would make the same buy today.
