Questions and thoughts about the R so far. V70-XC70 1998 R

Well I finally purchased the Saffron AWD R, and so far it is an amazing car. A few questions though. After getting the car off the shipping truck it was pulling right, so we did a alignment and it still pull slightly to the right. At night the gear selector isn't illuminated, I'm assuming its the bulb. When the auto trannys shift, is it smooth or is it kinda of rough? Ie you feel it loose boost and then shift. Its not like shifting my 65 Mustang fastback, but is this common? We have only have had it for 1 week but it seems to be a great performing car that catches many non-ready road warriors that have bit the dust at the light races. I can't wait to get the TME stuff, and then look out... Also anyone have any good or bad luck with McDonalds Volvo in Littleton, CO?
