Just had an alignment done today after the Struts,Spring seats and Strut mounts replaced.
The car goes straight down the road and wheel is 12 o clock so all good there.
But..I wanted to check out the printout with the numbers and compare to spec and found a PDF file (that also somebody else here on the forum also had found):
1995-6 850: http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/tech/service/850/WheelAlignmentSpecificationsProcedures.pdf
If these are the correct specs for my -95 Turbo wagon:
Front Toe-In: .11 To .21 inches (.23 To .43 deg.)
Front Camber: -1 To 1 deg.
Caster: 2.33 To 4.33 deg.
My values after alignment:
Front Toe in = 0.17 deg on both Left and Right, looks like they used inches value!
Camber Left = 0.2 deg Right = -1.0 deg
Caster Left = 2.0 Right = 2.5 deg
Camber is in spec and Left caster is slightly off, doesn't concern me a lot.
But the Toe-in, is this is significant deviation 0.17 instead of .23 deg on the low end of the spec?
Of course they'll fix it if I go back, just the hassle if it's not of importance.
What do you think?
