Engine codes ,will fail emissions.

Help.Help. Is Claus out there? I have a 1998 S70. Have check engine light on.
codes read as follows, P0422 P0442 P0455. Where do I start? have to go through emissions within the month for re-registering the car, and want to know where to look first. I can do most the work myself. STupid question,but if I were to clear the codes before going to emissions, would the car pass without fixing it for now? The check engine light does not come on immediately after clearing the codes, but a few miles down the line.
