Ty, I think you will find that the MAIN reason why people drive cars with little power in places like Europe is because gas has cost over $4/gal for years (and I can't imagine how expensive it is now). Also, many countries have a large tax on anything other than small motors. I suspect that if you lived there you would be driving something more inline with the natives that something we drive here in the U.S. (even the high-pressure turbo Volvos are less than common in Europe because of the high cost of fuel).
