BG MOA V70-XC70 1999

Klaus,

Thanks for your info. I've been using synthetic oil on the V-70 and my 3 240's for many years now and presumed that synthetic is a much cleaner operating oil. It's just odd that there would still be valve train deposits. I've found that on the 240's, I no longer need to clean the flame trap or other components of the PCV system. The throttle body as does not seem to "coke" up.

Last weekend, we took a 300 mi round trip with the V70 so I'm hopeful that these harmful deposits are at least reduced. If I hear valve train noise again I'll give the AutoRx a shot.

Thanks again for your thoughts.

Marty
