Looking at a 2001 V70 T5 w/ 5Spd V70-XC70 2001

service records are what will tell you if the price is acceptable, though I must say it seems quite high.

Still if it has the XeMoDeX ETM and has recently had it's T-belt done, evidence of brake fluid flushes and coolant changes, and you can't detect any crash damage and the cosmetics are A+ it /could/ be worth it I suppose depending on where you live etc.

The auto trans was a bit of a problem in this year but yours has a manual. Sturdy trans but it needs its fluid changed too.

The 5-speed is only worth more (over the auto) if it's something you really want. I think it was originally cheaper to order without the auto...

Check for squeaks and noises in the suspension, esp the front.

An inspection at a real mechanics will tell you all about suspension and brakes.

An oil analysis will tell you all about the engine. Though at 93k it should be in great shape.

Make sure the A/C works AWESOME and that there is a cabin air filter. (I don't think this was an option in this MY but make sure it wasn't removed).
