What plugs in the crankcase ventilation system on the S60?

Does this sound like a failed ETM? THe engine runs fine cold but at 2500 RPM, it them periodically cycles slow then fast again. It may do this several times before the rpm drops to less than a thousand and that is when it runs very rough. It could be extremely rich while running rough.

I'm trying to convince him to talk to Volvo it may get fixed under the extended warranty for the ETM. Even if it does not he needs the Volvo diagnostics. THere is a reputable Volvo independent nearby but they don't want to look at it cause they know they can't read the codes w/o the Volvo computer.

Just cause I have a driveway full of Volvos doesn't make me a Volvo expert. I do fine with the older ones.
