Hard Steering questions. 850 1994

I do all the repairs myself (way more satisfying get to learn a lot and no one can rip me off :), Tires included. Belt squeals at lock on both sides. Just went under and over all of the steering and cleaned oiled and greased everything steering related, including the knuckle. If that does not work then I will probably change the belt again. I just changed the alternator in this about 2 months ago and never put a new belt on it. Belt does not seem loose but its worth a shot. I knew the tension was automatic I just thought maybe there was a way to firm it up a bit.
