While I did not get the credit card to work, I found the solution to getting the cartrige out.
Remove the top panel, look in the back, see a lever next to a spring and at one end of a small horizontally mounted motor with a worm gear. Lever has a bent end and a tab about 1/4 inch square.
Push down on the lever and cartrige pops out!
Now the reason for the problem was that there were two disks in the play section.
Pushing and pulling on the edges with a pencil got them out.
However the eject does not work, and the light on the eject button does not come on. Changer is still dead.
