Hi wesky,
Would you care to share those tech notes for the readiness codes? And what did you actually say to convince the DMV folks to grant you a waiver? When you suggest that this might be a flaw in the OBDII for certain models, are you implying that certain ECU modules are inherently faulty, and as such a different/more recent ECU module would resolve the matter? Or is the OBDII system separate and distinct from the ECU module, rendering exchanges of ECU modules useless?
How does one go about performing the driving sequence recommended by Volvo? Thanks
