So here's an update on the no start. It has been more frequent lately. I have pulled apart the steering column and discovered the switch is very good, it doesn't seem to be loose at all. The ignition lock cylinder does seem to be a bit sticky and the actual steering column has some play. There also seemed to be some dirt on the connectors for the switch and it may have been a little loose as well. I have tightened everything up, cleaned it and put it back. There was a very small diameter spring about an inch long stuck to the inside of the steering column cover. I'm hoping this didn't come from the ignition cylinder.
Any idea as to hoe to get the computers out so I can clean the contacts? Also any idea how to tighten up the steering column? It is the part around the column that has all the switches mounted to it. It has some twisting play and some up and down play. This is not from the tilt steering mechanism as that part has no play.
