Transmission problem V70-XC70 2001

Well the car was diagnosed at my local dealer and this is what they found:
Transmission: THe thumping on accelerating from a stopped position is caused by the Nuetral gear mode. Software update $30. I was asked to monitor the situation for a few weeks to make sure that it is really fixed.

The car threw 2 more codes also. Mass air flow sensor. $290 installed
and A catalytic convertor code. Dman me thinks, that gonna be pricey.
THe dealer said that it will be replaced FREE of charge because of an extended warrantee on that part! cool.
