Tailgate Ajar Light - the cheap easy fix V70-XC70 1999

Having no desire to spend big bucks for a new tailgate latch just to turn off that annoying orange dash light, I decided to pull off the interior tailgate cover and do some nosing around.

Taking off the manual hatch lever assembly lets you see the wires as they enter the latch - just yank the blue wire w/ brown stripe from the connector and out goes the light.
