Guess I was just thinking that for most of the converse conversions the ignition solenoid is placed on one of the inner wheel wells. There are snakes of wires going to and from it. It is less visually appealing than if it were placed beside or behind something else, instead of just in the middle of nothing. (see pict below) After looking at all my 5L pictures, it does look like most of the wiring is tucked away nicely. My mistake.
