converting from AOD to T5

Well, there are definitely plusses and minuses to my car because of the way it is set up. It rides pretty rough which is ok for me, but sometimes I cringe if I had to, say, drive my parents around in it. But that isn't so much the V8 conversion as it is the setup.

With the exhaust, it can drone, so sometimes it can annoy me, but usually it just sounds awesome. Again, it depends on how you make your exhaust.

The car hasn't been very reliable. Depends who builds your engine or where you get it from. I know people who daily drive V8 conversion Volvos and they have been fine.

Overall, I don't regret it, but I am glad that I have a 940T that is relatively stockish, and has stock reliability, is quiet, and relatively comfortable.

I also found that my overall situation has changed since I built it. When I converted my 240 to V8, I thought it would be awesome to be able to blow away pretty much any car I was next to on the street. In the past 10 years, that has become less important to me, and my lightly modded 940 feels fine. (I do want to take that up to about 250 hp)

Whenever I haven't driven the V8 car in a while though, it always makes me smile when I take it out.
