Speedometer issue

Thanks for the information. I knew there was an early model difference in ABS tone rings, but I wasn't sure about what it was.

ABS started in the 1987 model year. My daughter's 1987 744T has ABS. It was originally equipped with an AW71. We converted it to M46/OD. I already had the M46, and I managed to find a rear end from a 1988 744T with M46. The speedometer works fine.

At one time we had a 3.73 locker from a 1991 turbo car in my son's 1984 760T. We never could get the speedometer to work right, and finally re-installed the correct rear end.

The early tone rings on the carrier have 12 slots.
